San Bernardino Car Accident Injures Two
Two people were hospitalized with injuries after a San Bernardino car accident, which involved five vehicles. According to a news report in the Victorville Daily Press, the accident occurred the afternoon of February 25, 2010, when a blue Honda driven by Jerimiah DeGrandis and heading west on Bear Valley Road, near Cobalt Road, swerved suddenly and was hit on the passenger side. A silver Ford pickup truck traveling behind the Honda then swerved into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a BMW heading east and driven by Corey Lathrop, 21. Two other vehicles that were following the BMW were also involved in the collision. DeGrandis and the driver of the Ford truck were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Officials are still trying to determine what caused the Honda to swerve and have not arrested or cited anyone yet.
I'm relieved that none of those involved in this accident sustained critical or life-threatening injuries. I wish the injured victims the very best for a quick and complete recovery. Please keep them in your prayers.
