Los Angeles Laker's 2010 Victory Against Boston Celtics

The Los Angeles Lakers won their 16th NBA Championship after overcoming a 13 point deficit. The Lakers shot a meager 32% from the field but managed to beat the Boston Celtics in the seventh game of a seven game series. The Lakers, who were down three games to two after five games won the final two games at home in order to win the historic series.

The gut wrenching final game was not decided until the final minutes of the fourth quarter. Going into the final game, many questioned whether the Lakers would be tough enough to keep up with the rough and physical style of the Boston Celtics. However, the Lakers showed that they possess the mental and physical toughness required to be champions.

This championship was particularly sweet because it doubled as revenge for the Los Angeles Lakers who were embarrassed by the long time rival Boston Celtics in the final game of the 2008 Finals.

After the game, Kobe Bryant admitted that this was one of the most intense games of his career. He added, “It was the most physical one. They believed they could beat us, obviously what happened in '08. But the physicality of their team, how smart they are, extremely well coached and guys made big shots. It was tough. They weren't going to beat themselves, we had to beat them.”

The story of the 2010 Los Angeles Lakers is an inspirational one that has many parallels outside of sports. There are similarities between the 2010 Lakers Championship and the BISNAR | CHASE personal injury law firm that will help you understand how we approach the battles that we are fighting for you.

Teamwork is the key to winning your case

The Lakers championship run included many stellar individual performances but ultimately it was their collective effort that helped them reach their goal. Ron Artest was labeled the Most Valuable Player of Game 7 by Lakers coach Phil Jackson. Kobe Bryant was the MVP of the series. Center Pau Gasol made several key plays at the end of Game 7. The furious fourth quarter rally by the Lakers was ignited by Derek Fisher’s inspirational pep talk at the beginning of the fourth quarter. At BISNAR | CHASE, we have assembled a talented and experienced team of paralegals and attorneys who are committed to your cause.
