Mass Man Struck by Disney Bus Dies
The Following article is a guest post from the Massachusetts personal injury lawyers at the Kiley Law Group, LLC.
Robert Krueger, 69, from Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts was killed yesterday (Sunday) after he was struck by a Disney bus at Walt Disney World in Port Orleans, Florida.
According to witness’ accounts, the tourist from Cape Cod, walked in front of the bus in the resort’s parking lot about 5:50 pm. Krueger was struck by the front of the bus.
He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
This fatal pedestrian accident remains under investigation, though it is not likely that the bus driver will be charged since Krueger was not in a crosswalk, and the bus had the right-of-way, police said.
This is second fatality struck by a Disney bus in Florida since April 2010, when a 9-year-old boy was killed as he rode his bicycle in front of the bus.
