Pedestrian Suffers Brain Injury in San Diego Car Accident
A 54-year-old man was severely injured in a San Diego car accident when he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street. According to a 10News report, the pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of Genesee Avenue and Mount Alifan Drive in Clairemont Mesa, the night of August 29, 2011. The victim suffered serious injuries including bleeding of the brain and a broken arm. The 19-year-old male driver of the Acura was not injured in the crash. It is not clear if the driver will be cited for the collision.
My thoughts and prayers are with the pedestrian who has apparently suffered a traumatic brain injury in this crash. I wish him the very best for a complete and fast recovery.
