A Toyota 4Runner then struck the two motorcyclists. Gonzalez and Tisherman were taken to area hospitals with severe head trauma. Both motorcyclists had been riding north on Beach in the first lane. Officials are still trying to determine why Gonzalez and Tisherman collided. The driver of the Toyota 4Runner was identified as Edward Cordova of San Dimas. Cordova was not personally injured.
