One person was injured in an Orange County car accident after his vehicle was struck by another car at a street intersection in Santa Ana, California. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the accident occurred the morning of September 11, 2009 at the intersection of Bear Street and Segerstrom Avenue. Santa Ana police say a silver Dodge minivan going north on Bear collided with a white Oldsmobile that was headed east on Segerstrom. The minivan rolled on its side, trapping the 59-year-old driver and his 17-year old passenger inside. The driver of the Oldsmobile fled the scene of the accident on foot. The 59-year-old man complained of pain and was taken to a local hospital. The teen was not injured.
I’m glad that no one was catastrophically injured or killed in this street intersection accident. I wish the injured driver of the Dodge the very best for a quick and complete recovery. Please keep him in your prayers.

A knowledgeable car accident lawyer should also advise victims on how the uninsured/underinsured clause of their car insurance policy will apply to a hit-and-run accident or in an accident where the at-fault party does not have insurance.
