A woman sustained critical injuries in a Los Angeles car accident after her car was involved in a collision with a pickup truck the morning of December 29, 2009. According to a news report in The Long Beach Press Telegram, the major injury car crash occurred at the intersection of Bellflower Boulevard and Alondra Boulevard. Firefighters brought in heavy cutting equipment to free the victim from the wreckage. The woman was then taken to an area hospital. She was listed in critical condition.
