Kern County Car Accident Causes Injuries

A car accident in Kern County injured six people, one critically. The Taft Midway Driller reports that the major injury collision occurred the night of September 4, 2010 when a Subaru SUV rear-ended a Saturn sedan that was stopped at the intersection of Midway Road and Highway 119. Four people including two children in the car were hurt.

One 2-year-old in the Saturn was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Subaru abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Officials are looking for this hit-and-run driver.
