Man Seriously Injured in Laguna Niguel Motorcycle Accident

Motorcycle AccidentA man suffered major injuries in a Laguna Niguel motorcycle accident after a vehicle struck him at an intersection.

According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the major injury collision occurred the evening of September 18, 2015 at the intersection of Golden Lantern Street and Paseo Adelanto.

The man was thrown off the motorcycle after the crash.

He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. It is not clear if anyone in the other vehicle was injured.

Officials are still investigating the cause of this major injury collision.

Motorcycle Accident Statistics

There were no fatalities, but 10 injuries reported as a result of motorcycle accidents in Laguna Niguel in 2013, according to California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS).

Countywide, 30 people died and 989 were injured due to motorcycle accidents during the same year.
