The city of Los Angeles is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver involved in a Jan. 15 crash that killed 52-year-old Bruno Commereuc. According to an NBC Los Angeles news report, police say a silver Nissan 350Z that was turning left on 54th Street from Arlington Avenue struck the motorcycle that Commereuc was riding. Commereuc reportedly had the green light at the intersection.
The driver of the Nissan did not stop after the crash and Commereuc died from his injuries. Commereuc’s widow Analyn Revilla shared memories of her husband during a press conference on Jan. 26 asking for the public’s help in finding the hit-and-run driver. She said her husband’s last words to her were: “I didn’t say I love you enough.” Officials plan to release surveillance camera video of the crash in hopes of identifying the hit-and-run driver. The investigation is ongoing.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family members of Bruno Commereuc for their tragic and heartbreaking loss. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
