There is very little information in the news account about how or why this motorcycle accident occurred. Based on the news report and the images of the Acura’s damage, it seems that the motorcyclist hit the front of the car. At the moment, there are more questions than answers here. Who was at fault? Did the driver of the car make an illegal turn? Was the motorcyclist speeding or riding his bike in an unsafe manner? Did it occur at the intersection? If so, which vehicle had the right-of-way? These are all important questions that must be answered in order to determine the exact cause of the accident and whether there was any negligence involved on the part of either driver.
