In this particular case, finding eyewitnesses who can tell traffic investigators how this auto accident occurred is going to be crucial. Single-vehicle accidents such as this one can occur because of a variety of reasons. Torres’ pickup truck could have malfunctioned or could have had an inherent product defect that triggered the malfunction and caused Torres to lose control. There could have been a dangerous condition on the roadway that could have caused him to lose control. In some cases, vehicles are also run off the road by another motorist.

It would be in their best interest to contact a reputed California auto accident attorney, who will delve into the details of this case, establish the facts and identify the negligent parties. If this accident was caused by a defective auto then the auto maker could be held liable. If this crash was caused by a dangerous condition on the road, then the city of Pomona could be held liable. Any claim against a governmental agency in California must be filed within six months of the accident.
