Jeffrey Isaacson, 40, of Stanton, was killed in a Westminster motorcycle accident after a garbage truck hit him. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal accident occurred the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 9 in the 15200 block of Beach Boulevard. Police said the investigation showed that the motorcyclist had been trying to pass the garbage truck on the right and was determined to be the “at fault” driver in the accident.
A GoFundMe account has been started for Isaacson’s family. The fund’s organizer wrote Isaacson was tragically taken away in a “freak motorcycle accident.” He is survived by his wife and their 6-month-old baby boy. Another friend said Isaacson had been a Disney Jungle Cruise skipper and was part of the “Flashback” cast. He was a few days away from his 41st birthday and was about to move his family out of state, the post said.
We offer our deepest condolences to the family members of Jeffrey Isaacson for their tragic and heartbreaking loss. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Investigations Can Be Complex
Based on this news report, it appears that police officers based on preliminary investigations have determined that the motorcyclist was at fault. However, as Orange County motorcycle accident lawyers, we strongly recommend that victims’ families retain the services of a reputed personal injury law firm to look into other factors that might have been at play. It is not clear how police determined that the motorcyclist was at fault. Did they look at surveillance cameras? Did they go purely by eyewitness testimony?
If you or a loved one has been injured in a motorcycle accident, it is important that you contact an experienced injury lawyer who will examine all aspects of the crash determine other factors that might have caused or contributed to the incident.
