Nancy Naranjo, a 23-year-old mother and her 9-month-old son, Joshua Bonton, were both killed in a Sacramento car accident, which authorities say, was caused by a suspected drunk driver. According to a News10 report, the fatal crash occurred the morning of August 8, 2010, when a Toyota 4Runner driven by 22-year-old Xieng Her rear-ended Naranjo’s Honda Accord, which was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Stockton Boulevard. The Honda Accord was pushed at least 200 feet by Her’s SUV before coming to a stop. Both Naranjo and her baby were killed at the scene. Her faces several criminal charges including felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
My heart goes out to everybody who knew and loved Nancy Naranjo and baby Joshua. What a terrible tragedy for this family! This grieving family will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers.
