What Caused This Crash?

Based on this news report, it is unclear what caused this collision. It appears that this crash occurred mid-block. However, it is unclear if one of the vehicles was turning into or out of a parking lot or driveway. Did one of the drivers fail to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming vehicle? Was this a head-on crash? Was one of the drivers impaired, speeding or distracted at the time? We trust officials are looking into all possible causes in order to determine precisely who was at fault.

Fault and Liability

In such cases, the at-fault parties can be held liable for the injuries, damages and losses caused. Injured victims can seek compensation for damages such as medical expenses, lost wages, hospitalization, rehabilitation, permanent injury, pain and suffering and emotional distress. Injured victims would also be well advised to contact an experienced Los Angeles personal injury lawyer who will stay abreast of the official investigation and ensure that the negligent parties are held liable. In such cases, if the at-fault driver is on the job, his or her employer can also be held accountable.
