Woman Injured in San Diego Hit-and-Run Car Accident


A woman suffered head injuries in a San Diego car accident, which officials say involved a hit-and-run driver. According to a U-T San Diego news report, the injury crash occurred near the intersection of Cesar E. Chavez Parkway and National Avenue, early morning on March 20, 2012. The driver fled the scene. Police say the victim was found partially on the sidewalk and partially on the roadway. She was transported to an area hospital with a head injury and her condition is not known at the moment. Police say the hit-and-run vehicle may have been a Ford Explorer. No driver description is available.
